About LXU
Lsb Industries, Inc.
A leading North American producer of industrial and agricultural chemicals
3503 NW 63rd Street, Suite 500, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116
--
LSB Industries, Inc., was founded as an Oklahoma corporation in 1968 and became a Delaware corporation in 1977. LSB is a diversified holding company engaged in manufacturing and sales through its subsidiaries. Its chemical division is a supplier to some of the world's leading chemical and industrial companies. By focusing on specific geographical regions, the company has freight and distribution advantages over its competitors, and its chemical business already has a high market position in these regions. The company sells most of its industrial and mining products to customers under contractual agreements on minimum volume and cost plus profit. These contract sales weaken the impact of changes in the cost of goods and fluctuations in product demand, which are due to the cyclicality of the end market. The company regularly revises its agricultural product sales agreement, but most of its agricultural products are sold at market prices when they are actually loaded.
