OPENLANE, Inc., was established on November 9, 2006, and started operations in 2007 on the basis of successfully handling the events of the year. On November 3, 2009, its name was changed from Iceberg to the current Ice Bucket Auction Services. The company is a leading supplier of automotive auction services in North America. In North America, it offers the entire used car auction service system. The company's business scope can be divided into three reporting divisions, each of which is an integral part of the used car disposal industry. They include: ADESA Auction Division, IAA and AFC. The company's revenue sources include fees paid by buyers and sellers of auto auctions and the benefits of providing value-added ancillary services, including inspection, storage, transportation, sorting, rescue and restoration, bronzing and exhibition loans. The company has made it easier to transfer ownership from the seller to the buyer in a targeted manner, no longer in the form of exhibiting the entire vehicle at auction to attract buyers.
