First American Financial Corporation was merged in Delaware in January 2008. After the split of the assets of First American Corporation (TFAC), First American Financial Corporation became the holding company of the financial services company under TFAC. The spin-off was completed on June 1, 2010, and the company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "FAF". The professional insurance business has formulated policies for property insurance and injury insurance, and sold home warranty products. In addition, the company's functions also include some financing equipment and services to support the company's operations.
