Eagle Materials Inc., a building materials subsidiary of Centex Corporation. The company was merged in 1963, and from April 1994 to January 30, 2004, the company was named "Centex Building Products" and operated as a public company. During this period, Centex distributed tax-free dividends to shareholders at EXP (hereinafter referred to as "Asset Spin-off "). Since the spin-off, the company is no longer affiliated with Centex. The company's main business is the manufacture and distribution of gypsum board and the manufacture and sale of cement. Gypsum board can be distributed throughout the United States, with a focus on the geographically closest market for production equipment. The Company sells cement in six regional markets, including Nevada and California, the Greater Chicago Area, the Rocky Mountain Area, the Central Plains and Texas. The company's recycled paperboard business supports the gypsum board business, while the concrete and polymer business supports the cement business.
