Elastic N.V. was incorporated as Searchworkings Global B.V. in the Netherlands as a private limited liability company on February 9, 2012. The company is a search artificial intelligence company. Its platform combines search with artificial intelligence to help clients solve real-time business problems and extract value from data. The platform can be provided in the form of cloud services or self-managed software. Elastic offers three solutions built on its platform: Search and AI, Elastic Observation and Elastic Security. The platform can ingest data from any source and perform search, analysis and visualization operations. It has a unified user interface, built-in artificial intelligence agents, and supports third-party artificial intelligence agents. It also contains an open source vector database.
