Northeast Bank, a Maine corporation chartered in April 1987, is a bank holding company registered with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (" Federal Reserve ") under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended. The company's main subsidiary and main asset is its wholly-owned subsidiary bank-Northeast Bank, which has ten bank branches. Northeast United Bank was originally organized in 1872 as the Maine Chartered Mutual Savings Bank and formerly the Bethel Auto Savings Bank (F.S.B.), and is a member of the Maine Chartered Bank and the Federal Reserve System. 
The Company provides a full range of banking services to individual and corporate clients throughout South-Central and Western Maine, and conducts loan procurement activities nationwide through its wholly-owned affiliates, Northeastern Bank, a member of the Maine State Chartered Consolidated Bank and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
