California BanCorp was incorporated in California on October 2, 2019. The bank opened in December 2001 in Ramona, California as Ramona National Bank, a small community 45 miles inland from San Diego to meet the financial needs of the local community. In November 2006, the bank changed its name to First Business Bank, N.A., and its strategy shifted to the business and professional communities of San Diego County.
