(AGC), has been awarded a $500,000 grant from Ontario's Critical Minerals Innovation Fund for a graphite purification and anode development project. The project, which includes a $314,500 contribution from AGC and $200,000 in-kind support from Natural Resources Canada, aims to produce 5-6 tonnes of flotation concentrate. Preliminary testing has already achieved a five-nines purity level of 99.9991%, marking a significant milestone for AGC. This purity level is notable as it was achieved without the use of chlorine or halogen gases, which are typically required for such ultra-high purity levels.
