Zelestra Secures $154m Funding from Santander for Renewable Energy Projects

Renewable energy company Zelestra has secured a €130m ($154m) syndicated equity-bond facility with Santander, supported by Instituto de Credito Oficial (ICO) and Spain's official export credit agency, CESCE. The funding will support the development of approximately 500MW of contracted renewable energy projects in Germany, Italy, and the US. These projects include wind, solar, and battery energy storage capacities, set to begin construction in 2026 and 2027. The agreement highlights confidence in Zelestra's global strategy and its customer-centric approach.
