Zegona Communications Partners with Vodafone Spain to Form Fibre JV with Orange and GIC

Zegona Communications PLC, a London-based investor in European telecommunications and media, has announced a partnership between Vodafone Spain, GIC Private Markets Pte Ltd, and MasOrange SA to form a new fibre company called FibreCo. The joint venture will combine Vodafone and MasOrange's existing infrastructure into a network covering 12 million premises across Spain, with GIC acquiring a 25% interest in FibreCo. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2025. Zegona shares rose 8.4% to £942.74 on Monday morning.
