Zebra Technologies is showcasing its latest advancements in intelligent automation at Automate 2025, held at Detroit's Huntington Place from May 12 to 15. The company is presenting new solutions designed to enhance productivity and efficiency in manufacturing and warehouse operations. One of the key highlights is the Aurora VGR Assistant, a software add-on tool for Zebra's Aurora Design Assistant software. This tool simplifies the configuration and deployment of vision-guided robotics (VGR) tasks, making it easier to integrate 2D robot guidance and machine vision inspection tasks into a single platform.

Another notable solution is Zebra Symmetry Fulfillment, an AI-powered AMR-assisted-picking solution that combines warehouse execution system (WES) functions with robot fleet management and powerful analytics. This solution aims to increase productivity and reduce costs in warehouse operations by enabling workers to load and unload orders without requiring the AMR to remain permanently attached to each cart, thereby increasing utilization and reducing the number of AMRs needed.

The MotionCam-3D (Blue) is another innovative product being showcased. This device delivers breakthrough improvements in 3D sensing capabilities, leveraging Photoneo's Bin Picking software for robot guidance. Mounted on a robotic arm, it provides superior scanning performance through virtually unlimited multi-angle scans, capturing a continuous, high-fidelity 3D data stream to build complete scene models in real time.

Zebra Technologies is also demonstrating its RFID interactive demo, which tracks customer orders from the receiving bay to the outbound shipments dock. This solution showcases how frontline workers can save time and deliver more accurate counts through inventory audit and order picking with Zebra's MC3390xR, a long-range, Android-based RFID reader, along with the picklist verification process via Zebra's FXR90 ultra-rugged RFID reader.
