Yoshiharu Global Co. is rebranding as Vestand Inc. and shifting from a restaurant business to a PropTech-focused company. The firm has secured $6 million in funding and aims to raise over $30 million by mid-2027 to fuel a $100 million real estate portfolio. Vestand is developing AI-powered valuation models, property renovations, and a short-term buy-resell model targeting over 30% ROE. The company is also investing in Wealthrail, a platform for fractional real estate investing using tokenized securities.
Yoshiharu Global Co., a fast-growing restaurant operator, has announced a significant transformation. The company, now known as Vestand Inc., is shifting its focus from the restaurant business to PropTech, with a strategic emphasis on real estate development and digital asset ventures. This rebranding and business pivot have been supported by a $6 million investment from U.S. and Korean investors, with plans to raise an additional $30 million by mid-2027 to achieve a cumulative $100 million in real estate investments.
The transition began on July 10, 2025, when Vestand's Board of Directors approved the name change and business restructuring. The $6 million in strategic funding has already been used for corporate restructuring, debt repayment, and the acquisition of four residential properties in California. The company aims to target a cumulative $100 million in real estate investments by the first half of 2027.
Vestand is collaborating with Good Mood Studio, a U.S.-based developer with extensive experience in real estate transactions, to deploy AI-powered Automated Valuation Models (AVM), renovation strategies, and a short-term buy-and-resell model. These initiatives are expected to yield over 30% Return on Equity (ROE), based on the average transaction prices of comparable properties in surrounding areas.
Additionally, Vestand has made an early investment in Wealthrail, a fractional real estate investment platform that integrates digital assetization, including tokenized securities (STO). This strategy blends short-term flipping with long-term hold opportunities, creating a next-generation distributed real estate investment ecosystem.
To strengthen transparency and regulatory compliance, Vestand has launched a new initiative to fortify its internal control framework. Under the leadership of its CEO and CFO, the company aims to ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and align its governance practices with the expectations of shareholders and the broader market.
CEO Ji-Won Kim emphasized the importance of establishing Vestand as a unique investment platform that leverages digital technology alongside physical assets. He also stressed the company's commitment to ongoing transparency with stakeholders.
