Ripple has recently announced a significant development for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) community in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In collaboration with Tenity Global, Ripple is launching an XRPL Accelerator Program designed to support blockchain startups and developers across the APAC region. This program will run for 12 weeks and will focus on some of the most dynamic sectors in the crypto space, including real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, institutional decentralized finance (DeFi), and AI-powered blockchain applications. Selected projects have the potential to receive up to $200,000 in funding to help bring their innovative ideas to fruition.

Fiona Murray, Ripple’s APAC Managing Director, highlighted Singapore’s growing reputation as a leader in digital innovation. She emphasized that this accelerator program will play a crucial role in unlocking new talent and practical use cases on the XRP Ledger, further solidifying the region's position in the global blockchain ecosystem.

In parallel with these developments, XRP’s price action has shown signs of strength, aligning with broader movements in the crypto market. As major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Solana, and Ethereum experience short-term gains, XRP has also started to push higher. XRP recently broke above a key resistance level around $2.25. If this breakout is sustained, the next target zone for XRP lies between $2.31 and $2.35. Should XRP close a daily candle above $2.35, it could rally further towards $2.43-$2.44, potentially testing recent highs near $2.60. This would represent approximately a 10% upside move from current levels.

It is important to note that in the crypto market, Bitcoin’s price direction often influences altcoins like XRP.
