WTW Appoints Nicholas Carbo as Senior Director to Insurance Consulting & Technology Business.

WTW has appointed Nicholas Carbo as Senior Director to its Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) business. Carbo joins from Corebridge Financial, where he led individual annuity finance and assumption governance. He previously worked at Oliver Wyman as a senior principal, providing consulting services to (re)insurance companies. Carbo will be based in Florida and focus on annuity product development, pricing, modeling, and M&A.

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has announced the appointment of Nicholas Carbo as Senior Director to its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. Carbo joins from Corebridge Financial, where he served as Individual Annuity Chief Financial Actuary, leading annuity assumption governance, experience studies, forecasting, reinsurance analysis, and valuation oversight responsibilities. Prior to this, he was Senior Principal at Oliver Wyman, providing consulting services to (re)insurance companies focusing on annuities, M&A-related projects, and Bermuda reporting. Carbo is also a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Based in Florida, Carbo will support clients with annuity product development and pricing, modeling, assumption development, reinsurance, and M&A. His deep industry expertise is expected to be a valuable addition to the WTW team, as stated by Karen Grote, Senior Director and North American Life Division Leader, Insurance Consulting and Technology, WTW: "We are thrilled to welcome Nick to WTW. Additionally, Poojan Shah and Erika Dochney will join the ICT team this summer as Director and Associate Director respectively. Shah joins from PwC, where he specialized in reinsurance structuring, M&A transactions, actuarial and finance modernization, and U.S. and international regulatory compliance. Dochney joins from Lincoln Financial Group, where she specialized in annual mortality experience studies and reporting. Both will focus on advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, modernization initiatives, actuarial valuations, and advanced actuarial modeling.
