WTTC Predicts Strong Growth for Global Travel and Tourism in 2025, Driven by China's Rebound

China's tourism sector is expected to make a significant contribution to the global travel and tourism market, with the World Travel & Tourism Council predicting strong growth this year driven by China's rebound. The WTTC predicts international visitor spending to reach a record 2.1 trillion USD in 2025, up by 164 billion USD from the previous high of 1.9 trillion USD in 2019. China's tourism sector is expected to contribute 11.7 trillion USD to the global economy in 2025, accounting for 10.3% of global GDP.
