TrendForce: NVIDIA still plans to launch B100 and B200 in the second half of this year, supplying CSP customers.
Market research firm TrendForce stated that recently there were rumors that NVIDIA would cancel B100 and switch to B200A, but according to the firm, NVIDIA still plans to launch B100 and B200 in the second half of 2024, supplying CSP (cloud service provider) customers, and additionally planning a downgraded B200A version for other enterprise customers, targeting edge AI applications. Due to tight CoWoS-L packaging capacity, NVIDIA will provide B100 and B200 capacity to CSP customers with higher demand and plans to supply them sequentially after the third quarter of 2024.

Tesla released its Q2 2024 driving safety report, stating that in the second quarter of this year, Tesla's Autopilot driving safety reached 10.3 times that of ordinary driving. The report shows that, based on data from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Federal Highway Administration, and Tesla statistics, in the second quarter of 2024 in the US, under normal driving conditions, a traffic accident occurs approximately once every 670,000 miles driven; for Tesla vehicles without Autopilot enabled, a traffic accident occurs once every 1.45 million miles; for Tesla vehicles with Autopilot enabled, a traffic accident occurs once every 6.88 million miles. This means that in the second quarter, Tesla's Autopilot driving safety was 10.3 times that of ordinary driving.

Apple prepares to launch a new mini version of Mac
Apple plans to launch a new version of the Mac mini, which will be the smallest desktop computer the company has ever produced. This new product is set to be released later this year and will be the first major design change to the product since Steve Jobs revamped the Mac mini in 2010. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the new device is much smaller than the previous generation, with a volume close to that of the Apple TV box. The updated mini is one of several new Macs set to be launched in the coming months. The company is preparing to equip iMac desktops and MacBook Pros with M4 chips, potentially launching them as early as this year. MacBook Airs are in development and are planned for a spring release.
