Wix Expands PayPal Integration for Streamlined Merchant Payments in US

Wix.com has expanded its collaboration with PayPal to offer more online payment options to merchants via Wix Payments in the US. The integration simplifies administrative tasks and allows merchants to offer customers a wider range of payment methods, including PayPal's Pay Later service and Venmo. Funds from purchases made using PayPal will be deposited directly into the merchant's Wix Payments account. Wix Payments is currently available in the US, with plans for a broader roll-out.

Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: WIX) and PayPal Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to deliver a unified payments experience for merchants in the United States. The integration, which is now available to U.S.-based Wix Payments users, aims to streamline payment management and enhance conversion rates.

The partnership integrates PayPal's payment methods, including PayPal Wallet and PayPal Pay Later, directly into the Wix Payments platform. This integration allows merchants to connect their PayPal Business accounts and manage all transactions from a single dashboard, simplifying day-to-day operations and enhancing overall efficiency [1]. Merchants will also gain access to PayPal's broader suite of features, offering customers more flexible and convenient ways to pay.

Funds from PayPal wallet purchases will flow directly into merchants' Wix Payments accounts, simplifying reconciliation and improving visibility over cash flow. Additionally, PayPal will serve as a Payment Service Provider (PSP), powering card processing capabilities within Wix Payments, further streamlining the merchant experience across channels [1].
