Wipro Acquires HARMAN's Digital Transformation Solutions Business Unit to Enhance Engineering Innovation and R&D Excellence

Wipro has acquired HARMAN's Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit, expanding its ER&D service offerings and capabilities. The acquisition enhances Wipro's AI-powered digital engineering and device engineering across various industries. Over 5,600 DTS employees will join Wipro upon closing, expected by December 31, 2025. This deal strengthens Wipro's position as a trusted transformation partner and accelerates digital innovation.

Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO), a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, has announced the acquisition of the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit from HARMAN, a Samsung company. This strategic move aims to enhance Wipro's Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) service offerings and capabilities, particularly in AI-powered digital engineering and device engineering. The acquisition will expand Wipro's reach across technology, industrial, aerospace, healthcare, and consumer industries.

Under the terms of the agreement, over 5,600 DTS employees, including key leadership, will transition to Wipro upon the closing of the transaction, which is expected by December 31, 2025. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is anticipated to strengthen Wipro's position as a trusted transformation partner.
