Willis Towers Watson (WTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, has appointed Stephen Kyriacou as the Head of Litigation and Contingent Risk Solutions, and Senior Director of Transactional Solutions for North America. This strategic move underscores WTW's commitment to expanding its footprint in the North American market and enhancing its capabilities in the litigation and contingent risk insurance sector.

Kyriacou brings over a decade of expertise in the legal and insurance industries, with a focus on litigation and contingent risk solutions. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Senior Lawyer in Aon's Litigation Risk Group, where he advised clients on litigation risks and structured customized insurance policies across multiple industries. As the first insurance industry professional focused solely on the litigation and contingent risk insurance market, Kyriacou pioneered innovative solutions such as judgment preservation insurance and insurance-backed judgment monetization, which have since become industry standards.

Recognized as a Risk & Insurance "Power Broker" for three consecutive years (2022-2024), Kyriacou's appointment at WTW demonstrates the company's dedication to providing innovative litigation and contingent risk solutions to support clients in managing their complex exposures. In his new role, Kyriacou will focus on expanding WTW's litigation and contingent risk solutions practice, structuring and placing customized risk transfer strategies, and building a leading technical risk solutions team.



Kyriacou's extensive knowledge and leadership in the market will enable WTW to attract and retain high-value clients seeking specialized risk management strategies. His expertise in structuring customized insurance policies and navigating complex litigation challenges will be invaluable in helping clients manage their unique risks with confidence.

Kyriacou holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and is a member of the New York State Bar. He previously clerked for the Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and served as a complex commercial litigator at Boies Schiller Flexner, representing clients in high-stakes litigation matters.
