Westrock Coffee, a private-label coffee and tea manufacturer, has opened a new 525,000ft² facility in Arkansas to meet the growing demand for single-serve coffee. The facility will produce millions of single-serve cups daily and support new product innovations. The expansion is part of Westrock Coffee's growth plan, which includes the creation of 900 jobs once both facilities operate at full capacity.

Westrock Coffee Company (Nasdaq: WEST) has opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Conway, Arkansas, to meet the surging demand for single-serve coffee products. The 525,000-square-foot facility, named the 'Clark' facility, is designed to produce millions of single-serve coffee cups daily [1].

The new plant is a significant addition to Westrock's U.S. operations and marks the company's second new production factory in the past year. Located on William J. Clark Drive in Conway, the facility will initially focus on manufacturing single-serve coffee products but has the potential to expand into additional product formats in the future [1].

The global demand for single-serve coffee continues to rise, with the coffee pods market valued at $35.3 billion in 2024 and projected to more than double to $71.2 billion by 2034 [1]. This growth is driven by consumers seeking fast, high-quality coffee with added convenience. As the market evolves, brands pursuing private label manufacturing are expanding in scale and diversifying their system partnerships beyond legacy platforms [1].

Will Ford, Chief Operating Officer at Westrock Coffee, commented on the expansion, stating, "The single-serve category is evolving rapidly, and we are scaling our operations to meet our customers' needs. This expansive new facility significantly enhances our capabilities in the U.S. market, and we are excited about the opportunities it will create for our existing and potential customers, employees, and the local community here in central Arkansas" [1].

The new Clark facility is part of Westrock Coffee's broader growth plan, which includes the creation of 900 jobs once both facilities reach full capacity. The company has already opened another large manufacturing facility in Conway dedicated to producing ready-to-drink coffee products, positioning Arkansas as a leading hub for coffee and beverage manufacturing in the U.S. [1].

Westrock Coffee's continued investment in central Arkansas strengthens the local economy by creating skilled manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics jobs. The company is committed to delivering innovative, high-quality beverage solutions to its customers, further solidifying its position as a leading integrated coffee, tea, flavors, extracts, and ingredients solutions provider [1].
