WeRide and Uber Technologies have announced plans to deploy at least 1,200 Robotaxis across the Middle East by 2027, with the deployment expected to span Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh. This expansion is part of their strategic partnership and will bring Robotaxis to three of the 15 cities outlined under the agreement by 2030. The deployment is expected to accelerate their regional expansion and is a key part of their vision for tens of thousands of Robotaxis globally in the next five years.
