WeRide Expands Robotaxi Fleet to Over 1,000 Vehicles, Sets Ambitious Goal of 10,000 by 2030.

WeRide Inc. has surpassed 1,000 robotaxis globally and achieved driverless operations in three cities: Beijing, Guangzhou, and Abu Dhabi. The company aims to reach tens of thousands of robotaxis by 2030. WeRide has also integrated with WeChat and partnered with Uber and Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority. Waymo unveiled its robotaxi, "Ojai," at CES 2026, while Tesla failed to reach its driverless robotaxi target by the end of last year.
