Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives raised Palantir Technologies (PLTR) target to $160, a 12% upside, maintaining a Buy rating. He sees strong momentum in the company's AI strategy and estimates the U.S. commercial AIP business could generate over $1 billion in revenue. Ives believes the Street is underestimating PLTR's competitive moat and long-term growth potential, and expects rising AI spending from the U.S. government and corporate sector to boost revenues.

Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives has raised the price target for Palantir Technologies (PLTR) to $160, a 12% upside, while maintaining a Buy rating. This move underscores the analyst's optimism about the company's strong momentum in its AI strategy. Ives estimates that the U.S. commercial AIP business could generate over $1 billion in revenue in the coming years.

According to Ives, the Street is underestimating PLTR's competitive moat and long-term growth potential. He expects rising AI spending from both the U.S. government and the corporate sector to boost Palantir's revenues. The analyst's optimism is driven by the company's growing influence in international defense and intelligence sectors, as well as its recent NATO contract win.

Palantir's AI Platform (AIP) is a key driver of this growth. The platform integrates data, decisions, and operations for clients, driving a 45% year-over-year increase in U.S. commercial revenue to $373 million in the first quarter of 2025. Ives sees Palantir as having a clear trajectory to become a major enterprise software player, comparing its potential to Oracle Corporation (ORCL).

The analyst also highlights the company's ability to address real-world enterprise challenges with scalable AI tools. Recent customer feedback points to Palantir's bootcamps offering significant value, helping organizations identify and implement AI solutions rapidly. These bootcamps are reportedly shortening sales cycles and accelerating product deployment and workflow optimization.

Palantir is experiencing strong demand for AIP across both commercial and government sectors. The company's alignment with a more disciplined global budget environment suggests it is well-positioned to expand in regions like the Middle East, where AI priorities are quickly moving to the forefront.
