Weaker yen boosts investor interest, foreign buying of Japanese stocks hits six-month high

Foreign investors increased their purchases of Japanese stocks in the week ended Oct. 5, buying a net 919.3 billion yen ($61.6 billion) of Japanese stocks, the largest net purchase since April 13, according to data from the Japanese finance ministry.
