Warren Buffett Donates $60 Billion to Charities, Continuing Annual Tradition

The donation includes 9,433,839 shares to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, 943,384 shares to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, and 660,366 shares each to the Sherwood Foundation, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, and the NoVo Foundation. These donations are scheduled to be delivered by June 30.

Following this donation, Buffett currently holds 198,117 shares of Class A stock and 1,144 shares of Class B stock in Berkshire Hathaway. This philanthropic effort is part of Buffett's long-standing commitment to giving away the majority of his fortune to charitable causes.
