The new lineup includes three people-moving models and three utility models, all equipped with lithium-ion power. The people-moving models offer 4, 6, and 8-passenger capacities, with a flip-up rear seat that converts into a cargo deck, providing flexibility for various applications such as maintenance staff transport, hospitality services, or large campus tours. The utility models feature matte black bodywork, electrically-actuated hydraulic dump beds, 2-inch ball hitches, and orange seat belts for enhanced visibility on jobsites. The Fusion Utility Long Bed model resembles a pickup truck built on a golf cart chassis, offering a unique blend of utility and style.
All Fusion models are available in both cart and LSV configurations. The carts are speed-limited to 19 mph (30.5 km/h) and come with serial numbers, making them street-legal only in areas with local ordinances permitting golf carts. The LSV versions meet federal low-speed vehicle safety standards and can be driven up to 25 mph (40 km/h) on public roads where LSVs are permitted by state law. Waev has opted for lithium-ion power, specifically a 105Ah Marxon pack that is both heated and insulated for cold-weather use.
The introduction of the Fusion line is part of Waev's ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive, sustainable solutions for local fleets. By offering a diverse range of electric vehicles tailored to various needs, Waev aims to become a trusted partner for fleet operators seeking reliable and eco-friendly transportation options.
