Meta has acquired a minority stake in EssilorLuxottica, the world's largest eyewear manufacturer, signaling its continued investment in AI-powered smart glasses. According to Bloomberg, Meta's investment amounts to approximately $3.5 billion, representing a little under 3% of EssilorLuxottica's market capitalization [1].
