Virtune launches Coinbase 50 Index ETP in Sweden, expands to 21 assets.

Virtune, a Swedish regulated crypto asset manager, has officially launched the Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP in Sweden. The product, available to Nordic investors, tracks the Coinbase 50 Europe Index, a broadly diversified index of up to 50 leading crypto assets. Virtune collaborated with Coinbase and MarketVector for the launch, which marks a milestone in the company's journey. The Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP is the first of its kind in Europe and is available through online brokers such as Avanza and Nordnet.

The Coinbase 50 Europe Index is designed to represent the largest and most relevant cryptocurrencies in the market. The index is developed by Coinbase and administered by MarketVector Indexes™. The Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP is 100% physically backed by the underlying cryptocurrencies, which are stored with institutional-level security at Coinbase. The product has an annual management fee of 0.95%.

The launch ceremony, held on September 4, featured a bell-ringing event at Nasdaq Stockholm.
