Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast has announced plans to establish 32 dealerships across 27 cities in India, as part of its strategic expansion in the country. The company, which is set to launch its first electric vehicles in India on July 15, aims to have 35 dealerships in place by the end of 2025. The initial dealerships will be located in key urban and emerging EV markets such as Delhi, Chennai, and Bengaluru [1].

VinFast has signed partnership agreements with 13 dealer groups to facilitate this expansion. The company has also tied up with Global Assure for 24/7 roadside assistance and dedicated call center support, with myTVS and RoadGrid for a pan-India EV charging solution, and with BatX Energies for high-voltage battery recycling and repurposing solutions [1].

The company is investing $500 million in a manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, which is expected to be operational soon. The facility aims to produce 1.5 lakh electric cars annually, with plans to use India as a base for exports to the Middle East and Africa [1].

This expansion reflects VinFast's focus on delivering an elevated EV experience backed by reliability, customer trust, and service excellence. The company is steadily building the foundation for a long-term, sustainable presence in one of the world’s most dynamic EV markets.
