Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference in Las Vegas on May 28. This marks the first time a sitting US vice president has publicly endorsed Bitcoin, as confirmed by the organizers of the world’s largest annual Bitcoin gathering.

The speech is set to take place at 9:00 a.m. PST at The Venetian Las Vegas, as part of the conference’s “Code + Country” programming track. The event will be streamed globally, allowing a wide audience to tune in and listen to Vance’s insights on Bitcoin and its role in the financial landscape.

Vance’s appearance at the conference follows President Trump’s address at Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville during his presidential campaign. This continuity in high-level political support for Bitcoin underscores the growing significance of the cryptocurrency in national and global discussions.

Vance was selected as Trump’s running mate for the 2024 presidential campaign in July of last year.
