Marriott Vacation Club, a division of Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation, has announced the opening of its newest vacation ownership resort in Asia Pacific: Marriott Vacation Club, Khao Lak Beach Resort in Thailand. The resort is scheduled to debut in August 2025 and marks the brand's seventh vacation ownership resort in the region, reflecting growing demand for vacation ownership options among Asian travelers.

The new resort, located within the stunning JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, offers 52 Family Suites that have been transformed into spacious 2-bedroom vacation ownership apartments. Each apartment is designed to comfortably host up to five guests and features Thai-inspired architecture with locally influenced artwork. The accommodations are equipped with spacious living and dining areas and cozy bedrooms, making them ideal for extended stays.

Marriott Vacation Club, Khao Lak Beach Resort places a strong emphasis on sustainability. The resort has implemented several eco-friendly initiatives, including the elimination of single-use plastics, the use of reusable glass water bottles in guest rooms, and bamboo key cards as a natural, biodegradable alternative to plastic. Additionally, the resort is committed to reducing its environmental impact through the use of fresh, organic produce from its on-site garden, which cultivates over 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

The resort offers a range of amenities to its guests, including a one-and-a-half-mile lagoon swimming pool, the largest in Southeast Asia, a kids' pool, 11 restaurants and pool bars, and pickleball and basketball courts, adventure golf, and bicycles for exploring the area, which are anticipated to be available by late 2026.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation has also announced plans to expand its offerings in Bali with the unveiling of 32 new apartments as part of the Marriott’s Bali Nusa Dua Terrace expansion in early 2026. Additionally, the brand will open Marriott’s Enclave at Bali Nusa Dua Terrace next year, featuring 13 two-bedroom and 13 three-bedroom units with private pools and kitchens. Owners, Members, and guests at both properties will have full access to amenities and facilities at the co-located Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort.

Furthermore, Marriott Vacation Clubs is expanding its marketing call center in Shanghai, growing its workforce from 80 to 125 associates to support increased demand among Chinese Owners, Members, and vacationers.

The opening of Marriott Vacation Club, Khao Lak Beach Resort and the expansion of Marriott’s offerings in Bali and Shanghai reflect the company's commitment to the Asia Pacific region and its growing demand for vacation ownership options. As interest in vacation ownership continues to rise among Asian travelers and international Owners and Members alike, Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation is well-positioned to meet this growing demand.
