Verizon Business has bolstered its global iot offerings by adding two new partners, Singapore-based operator Singtel and satellite service provider Skylo. These partnerships enable Verizon's IoT customers to access wireless services in up to 200 territories worldwide, conveniently managed through the verizon ThingSpace IoT management platform. This expansion simplifies IoT device deployment and management, providing customers with more extensive global coverage and connectivity.

Expanding International Connectivity Services with Singtel

Singtel, a leading communications technology group, has joined Verizon Business' Global IoT Orchestration service. This partnership allows Verizon Business customers to activate IoT devices internationally using partner-MNO networks and services, providing local connectivity advantages in supported markets. With Singtel on board, Verizon Business customers can now access wireless services in up to 200 territories worldwide, including the Asia Pacific region.

Global IoT Orchestration is now commercially available, offering international connectivity services from Singtel and previously announced collaborators Bell Canada and Telenor IoT. This service enables Verizon customers to activate devices in international regions using eSIM profiles from Verizon's international carrier partners, operating their devices like local network subscribers in those territories.

Enhancing IoT Connectivity with Skylo's Satellite Services

In the United States, Verizon will be positioned to offer IoT connectivity from satellite service provider Skylo. This partnership extends domestic network coverage to areas where cellular connectivity may be challenged, providing network assurance in regions with limited or no terrestrial connectivity. Skylo's satellite-IoT connectivity and services enable Verizon to offer IoT connectivity from satellite service providers like Skylo, expanding coverage availability internationally in the future.

Simplified IoT Management with Verizon ThingSpace

Both Singtel and Skylo services are integrated into Verizon's ThingSpace IoT management platform. This integration allows customers to manage IoT connectivity and services in all territories, both domestic and international, centrally on a single pane of glass using a seamless API interface or web portal. With Global IoT Orchestration, customers can activate devices in international regions using eSIM profiles from Verizon's international carrier partners, making it easier to operate devices like local network subscribers in supported markets.

Verizon's expansion of IoT connectivity services with Singtel and Skylo partnerships demonstrates the company's commitment to providing customers with a seamless, convenient, and comprehensive IoT management experience. By integrating these services into the Verizon ThingSpace IoT management platform, Verizon simplifies IoT device deployment and management, enabling customers to access wireless services in more territories worldwide. As IoT adoption continues to grow, Verizon's expanded global IoT offerings position the company well to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
