VeChain's native cryptocurrency VET has gained European spotlight with the launch of Valour's ETP listing in Sweden. The VET price trades near $0.25 with a 28% daily volume surge, supported by Q3 momentum and historically strong Q4 performance. VeChain operates on its own blockchain, VeChainThor, designed for enterprise applications such as supply chain tracking and real-time data sharing.
Valour Inc., a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies Inc., has expanded its European footprint with the launch of eight new ETPs on the Swedish market, including one for VeChain's native cryptocurrency, VET. This move follows a series of strategic expansions aimed at providing investors with access to a diversified range of digital assets [1].
The newly launched ETPs, denominated in Swedish krona (SEK), offer regulated and exchange-traded access to prominent blockchain assets such as Shiba Inu (SHIB), Pi (PI), Ondo (ONDO), Cronos (CRO), Mantle (MNT), Ethena (ENA), and Celestia (TIA) [1]. Notably, the VeChain ETP (VET) allows investors to participate in the growth of the VeChain blockchain, which is designed for enterprise applications like supply chain tracking and real-time data sharing [1].
The launch of these ETPs comes as the global market for digital assets continues to grow, with investors seeking diversified and regulated exposure to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies. VeChain's VET, in particular, has seen a significant surge in trading volume and price, with the VET price trading near $0.25 and a 28% daily volume increase, supported by Q3 momentum and historically strong Q4 performance [1].
Johanna Belitz, the Nordic Country Manager at Valour, commented on the launch, stating, "Investors in the Nordic region are increasingly seeking simple and transparent access to a broader range of digital assets. These new products expand our coverage of Layer 1, Layer 2, modular infrastructures, and popular tokens, directly addressing market demand for diversified exposure" [1].
Elaine Buehler, the Product Manager at Valour, added, "This launch reflects our product strategy: offering a balanced range of foundational infrastructure and emerging themes like tokenized yields and modular blockchains. Our goal is to help investors build targeted exposures through regulated ETPs that they can trade on their standard investment accounts" [1].
With this expansion, Valour now offers more than 85 ETPs on major European exchanges, including the Swedish Spotlight Stock Market, Börse Frankfurt, SIX Swiss Exchange, and Euronext. This move further solidifies Valour's leadership in the field of regulated digital asset investment solutions [1].
