Vast Renewables has been awarded AUD 700,000 through the Australia-Singapore Low Emissions Technologies initiative for maritime and port operations. The funding will support the development of SA Solar Fuels, a sustainable fuels project collaboration between Vast and Mabanaft. SA Solar Fuels aims to produce 7,500 tonnes per annum of sustainable fuels for the maritime and aviation industries, with a focus on optimisation work to advance the project towards Front-End Engineering Design (FEED).
