V2EX Integrates Solana Login Boosting Solana Network Adoption

The founder of V2EX, a prominent Chinese programmer community, has announced that the $V2EX token will be integrated with the V2EX website. The token, which was created nine months ago to test the Pump.fun product, is now being moved to an external exchange. This decision comes as the V2EX website is set to add Solana wallet login functionality, which requires the ability to view on-chain addresses. The current circulating supply of the $V2EX token is approximately 25% of the total supply, with the founder holding the remaining 75%.

The $V2EX token will offer several functionalities within the V2EX community. Users who log in or bind with Solana will be able to use stablecoins or $V2EX tokens for tipping between users. Additionally, certain advanced features will require users to hold $V2EX tokens. The founder, Livid, has emphasized that he is not concerned with the price of the token but is focused on promoting the Solana network within the V2EX community. Currently, the V2EX community has 750,000 registered users, with a daily active user count of 40,000. However, the Solana network has not yet been widely adopted among these users. By integrating Solana login into V2EX, Livid hopes to increase recognition of the Solana network and encourage the community to learn about its application technology.
