Families of the victims of a UPS cargo jet crash plan to file a wrongful death lawsuit, alleging that fatigue cracks in a support structure led to the plane's engine separation and subsequent crash. The National Transportation Safety Board found evidence of these cracks in the plane's left pylon. Boeing recommended that UPS suspend flight operations of the MD-11 freighter after the crash.
