Martin Beganyi, Program Lead at Procurement Adoption Office, has launched a global program to help customers adopt AI features in SAP procurement solutions. The initiative aims to address the challenge of low or inconsistent adoption of AI functionalities, limiting the value customers can unlock.

The cornerstone of the program is the AI Toolkit, a concise and easy-to-understand resource that compiles essential information about all available AI functionalities. Designed for those new to AI, the toolkit serves as a clear starting point for customers and partners alike. The toolkit is available for download and sharing within teams [1].

To further support adoption, SAP offers a series of live webinars that delve into the value of individual AI features, demonstrate activation steps, and showcase practical usage scenarios. These sessions are open to all SAP customers. Additionally, SAP offers one-on-one expert-led engagements for Preferred Success customers, including hands-on activation of AI features aligned with their business needs [1].

For those who prefer a more flexible approach, SAP hosts a recurring series of 'Open' hours, where customers can ask questions, seek real-time answers, and gain clarity on AI capabilities. The upcoming 'Open' hours are scheduled for September 9th, 23rd, October 7th, 21st, November 4th, 18th, December 2nd, and 16th for the EMEA/APAC region [1].

SAP's commitment to AI-driven innovation extends beyond procurement. The company has expanded its SAP Sovereign Cloud portfolio, highlighting its dedication to digital sovereignty and AI-driven innovation in Europe. The expanded portfolio includes SAP Cloud Infrastructure (Europe), SAP Sovereign Cloud On-Site, and Delos Cloud (Germany), offering multiple deployment options to meet regulatory and operational needs [2].

SAP's cloud momentum continues to fuel growth, with cloud backlog and revenues increasing significantly in the second quarter. The company's cloud strategy centers on four pillars: product innovation, go-to-market transformation, simplification, and people. SAP aims to sustain growth through 2027, with momentum building in the second half of 2025 [2].
