UniCredit launched the first tranche of its 2024 share buyback program, worth up to EUR 1.8 billion, as part of a total EUR 3.57 billion program authorized by the European Central Bank. The first tranche, set to begin on July 25, will involve the purchase of up to 110 million shares, or approximately 7% of the company's share capital. The operation will be managed by BNP Paribas and the price for each transaction will not deviate by more than 10% from the official price of the previous day.
