Ultra Launches $1 Million Grant Fund to Accelerate Web3 Development

Ultra has launched a $1 million grant fund aimed at accelerating the transition of Web3 from a visionary concept to a practical reality. The Developer Grants program is part of a strategic effort to attract top talent early in the development process. The program is structured around a five-step process that ensures transparency and collaboration, from the initial proposal submission to the final deployment and monitoring of projects.

This phase filters out ideas that do not align with the network's values. Following this, a committee of Ultra team members and ecosystem experts evaluates the proposals for technical feasibility, strategic alignment, and added value. Shortlisted projects are then put to a vote by $UOS token holders, ensuring that resources are allocated to initiatives that the community genuinely endorses. Final terms and milestones are established in collaboration with the project team, and funds are released in phases based on the completion of these milestones. Bi-weekly check-ins maintain momentum and ensure coherence with initial expectations.

The Ultra Developer Grants program is structured into three tiers to meet the needs of projects at different maturity levels. Micro Grants, up to $5,000, support early-stage experimentation, prototype creation, technical testing, or proof of concept. Seed Grants, ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, target projects with a functional foundation looking to scale, such as operational dApps, NFT marketplaces, or wallet integrations. Strategic Grants, up to $250,000, fund high-impact initiatives like native blockchain games, cross-platform systems, or essential infrastructure. Eligible project categories include blockchain games with play-to-own models, DeFi applications, NFT marketplaces, and wallet integrations.
