Ukraine Warns U.S. Delays in Military Aid May Prolong War

As the war between Ukraine and Russia enters its fourth year, Kyiv has expressed growing concerns over reported delays in U.S. military support. Betsa expressed Ukraine’s deep gratitude for U.S. support since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022. “The Ukrainian side emphasized that any delay or slowing down in supporting Ukraine’s defense capabilities would only encourage the aggressor to continue war and terror, rather than seek peace,” the Foreign Ministry said, highlighting Kyiv’s urgent concerns over the impact of any reduced aid. Ukraine strongly supports peace negotiations and aligns with Washington’s call to “immediately stop the killings and end the war,” officials stress that strengthening Ukraine’s defense remains essential.
