UK Political Operative Imran Ahmed of CCDH Faces Indictment and Prosecution Before Deportation

A British political operative, Imran Ahmed, who runs the Center for Countering Digital Hate, may be deported from the US. However, before he leaves, the Department of Justice should indict him for lying to Congress and the IRS. Ahmed claimed that CCDH was entirely funded by private donors, but this was found to be false. He also filed materially false statements with the IRS when applying for nonprofit status in 2021. Ahmed lives in Washington, D.C. with his American wife and may have an American passport.
