Jaguar Land Rover and Stellantis, Vauxhall's parent firm, suffered significant declines due to production pauses, cyber attacks, and factory closures. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders attributed the slump to ongoing restructuring, plant upgrades, and tariffs on trade with the US. However, the sector is expected to recover in 2026 with the launch of new electric vehicle models.
