Uber (UBER.US) and Nvidia (NVDA.US) have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence (AI) self-driving technology. This collaboration combines Uber's vast data from millions of daily rides with Nvidia's leading Cosmos and DGX Cloud system platforms, aiming to promote the widespread adoption of autonomous driving technology and lower the cost and resource threshold for related enterprises.

Specifically, the two parties will fully utilize Uber's rich travel data resources and Nvidia's advantages in high-performance computing. These data and platforms will work together to accelerate the democratization of AI development tools and bring cost benefits and resource efficiency improvements to the autonomous driving industry.

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi emphasized that generative AI will be the core driving force of future transportation, which requires massive data support and strong computing power. Through cooperation with Nvidia, Uber is confident in accelerating industry-safe and scalable autonomous driving solutions.

The market responded positively to this cooperation, with Uber's stock price rising 3% before the market opened on Tuesday, reflecting investors' optimism about the prospects of this strategic alliance.
