C3.ai, Inc. and Baker Hughes have announced a multi-year renewal and expansion of their joint venture agreement, which will run through June 2028. This strategic partnership, first established in 2019, has been instrumental in developing and delivering Enterprise AI solutions to the oil and gas and chemical industries.The renewed agreement will see C3.ai and Baker Hughes continue to work together to optimize production, reduce unplanned downtime, and enhance operational visibility for their clients. The companies have already successfully deployed these solutions to major players such as Shell, Eni, QatarEnergy LNG, Petronas, ExxonMobil, LyondellBasell, and Flint Hills Resources. This latest renewal is the fifth time the companies have amended the agreement since its inception, reflecting a strong commitment to their collaborative efforts.
Under the new agreement, Baker Hughes will expand its deployments of C3.ai's Sourcing Optimization, Inventory Optimization, and Sustainability Suite solutions. Additionally, the companies plan to increase market activities, continuing and expanding their work across the energy and industrial sectors.
This extension of the joint venture underscores the growing importance of AI in the energy sector and highlights the effectiveness of C3.ai's solutions in driving efficiency and sustainability gains.
