TVS has launched the Sport ES+ variant with a 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine, mated with a 4-speed gearbox. It produces 8.08 bhp and 8.7 Nm of power and torque. The commuter bike has been designed to resemble its parent model but with new graphics, alloy wheels, and grab rails at the rear. Prices start at Rs 59,881 and go up to Rs 71,785.

TVS Motor has recently unveiled the Sport ES+ variant of its popular budget commuter motorcycle, marking a significant step in the company's strategy to challenge the dominance of Hero MotoCorp's Splendor in the Indian market. The new variant, priced at Rs 60,881 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), offers an attractive blend of performance, aesthetics, and affordability.

The Sport ES+ is powered by a 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine, delivering 8.08 bhp at 7,350 RPM and 8.7 Nm of torque at 4,500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox, providing adequate performance for urban commuting. The motorcycle features a 10L fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 112 kg, with a ground clearance of 175 mm. The top speed is 90 km/h, making it suitable for city traffic and short-distance travel.

One of the standout features of the Sport ES+ is its design. It comes in two new color options—Grey Red and Black Neon—and includes pinstriping on the alloy wheels, adding a sporty touch to the motorcycle. The front headlight cowl and front mudguard are color-coded to match the fuel tank, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the ES+ variant features a black pillion grab rail, a unique design element that sets it apart from other variants.

The Sport ES+ is positioned between the Self Start ES and Self Start ELS variants, priced at Rs 59,881 and Rs 71,785 respectively. This mid-variant offers a balance of features and performance, making it an attractive option for consumers looking for an affordable yet capable commuter motorcycle.

The launch of the Sport ES+ variant aligns with TVS Motor's broader strategy to expand its market share in the 2W segment. The company's focus on innovation, design, and competitive pricing is evident in the Sport ES+, which is expected to appeal to a wide range of customers seeking a reliable and stylish commuter motorcycle.
