The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has delayed the completion of Rogers' 5G network due to maintenance, asbestos cleanup, and constrained work windows. The project aims to provide cellular service in 80% of subway tunnels by December 2025, but the TTC now expects only 70% to be completed by the end of this year and 88% by the end of 2026.
