Trump's President's Day Surprise: Airdrop of Official Solana Meme Coin

The Trump Company has announced a unique promotion for President's Day, offering an airdrop of the official Solana meme coin, TRUMP, to eligible buyers of merchandise and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from its four officially licensed online shops. This move aims to reward buyers and further expand the community supporting the TRUMP meme coin.

The airdrop is part of a President's Day promotion, with any user who purchased items from Trump's official sneakers, watches, fragrances, or digital trading card sites before February 15 eligible to claim 3 TRUMP tokens, currently valued at around $48. The claim requires users to share the email address used for their Trump merchandise order, and eligible parties have until March 1 to claim their TRUMP tokens at claim.gettrumpmemes.com. Notably, users who purchased Trump NFTs from secondary marketplaces are not eligible for the drop.

TRUMP, the official Solana meme coin, was launched on January 17 and quickly gained traction, reaching a market cap of nearly $14.7 billion. Despite a subsequent retrace of nearly 78% from its all-time high, the coin has maintained a trading price of $16.30 at the time of writing, with occasional promotions by the president.

The president has a history of selling digital trading cards as NFTs, most recently releasing 360,000 collectible cards on Ethereum's scaling network, Polygon. Last January, officially licensed Trump digital collectibles were also minted on Bitcoin as Ordinals inscriptions.
