TriMas is selling its aerospace division to Tinicum for $1.45 billion to focus on its packaging business. The Michigan-based company expects the deal to close by Q1 2026 and will maintain its packaging business and specialty products segment. TriMas plans to be acquisitive and unify branding in its packaging business to drive profitable growth. The company reported net sales of $269.3 million in the third quarter, with packaging generating $135.7 million.
