Trafigura Expands Biofuel Business with Hiring of Olam Traders

Trafigura Group has hired two vegetable oil traders from Olam Group to expand its biofuel business. Ruben Jesmiatka and Aurelien Struby will trade vegetable oils and biofuel feedstocks, such as soybean oil and used cooking oil. Trafigura has been broadening its portfolio and investing in biofuels, which are key to green fuel production. The company traded 600,000 tons of biofuels in its last financial year. Jesmiatka has over a decade of experience and previously worked at Cofco and BTG Pactual, while Struby has worked at Cofco and Bunge.
