Toyota Blockchain Lab Unveils Mobility Orchestration Network Prototype on Avalanche

Toyota Blockchain Lab has proposed a new blockchain-based framework called Mobility Orchestration Network (MON) to coordinate trust across global mobility ecosystems. The prototype, built on Avalanche, consists of four components: Avalanche, data access and control layer, mobility services layer, and interface layer. MON aims to address challenges in mobility systems such as fragmented data ownership, lack of standardization, and inefficiencies in cross-industry collaboration. The design enables programmable trust for mobility ecosystems, providing a foundation for corporate collaboration and consumer-facing services. If implemented at scale, MON could establish a template for blockchain-enabled mobility platforms, extending beyond Toyota to broader global transportation networks.
